New functions for flexible working models

What began before the turn of the year is now being systematically continued as announced: opcyc is expanding its home office planning and control feature for opcycWFM. The first stage of the feature has already been very well received by opcyc customers. Building on the basic functions, it is now possible to assign employees conditions for “home office” status for automatic planning and control. In addition to the skill, which can also be assigned corresponding home office parameters, opcycWFM now takes these conditions into account when planning. The now multi-dimensional and automatic consideration of parameters ensures support even in more complex situations.

With the expansion, opcycWFM is also consistently focusing on integrating home office functionalities into the myOPCYC employee portal. From now on, employees can not only see their plan status in relation to home office, for example, but can also edit it themselves if they have the appropriate authorization. “The planning of home offices is comparatively challenging, especially in terms of self-organization,” says Ender Tezel, member of the opcyc management team, adding: “When it comes to the combination of automation and individual but controlled intervention options, our customers can also rely on our operational understanding when it comes to planning and managing home offices.”

“The pandemic is one thing, but with the current level of the feature, opcycWFM will continue to enable working from home as an integrated and natural part of the planning and control process in customer service in the future,” says Ralf Thomas, Managing Director of opcyc.

The advanced solution has been delivered since the end of March. The home office feature will be continuously developed and is an integral part of the opcycWFM suite.
